Can't add keywords from Thesaurus

I am removing duplicate entries from @Keywords.
I clicked on a keyword, entered the name in the Keyword search bar and selected the correct hierarchical entry from the dropdown list.
That worked until I tried to trim the Thesaurus by re-importing entries from the database. Now the entry still appears in the dropdown list, but clicking on it does not update the keywords applied to the selected images. Recreating the Thesaurus from the database made no difference.
I can still allocate keywords by diving down through the category levels, but that is much slower.
How can I fix this?

Thanks in advance,
Steve

You click on a keyword where? What is a search bar?
Maybe you are using recently used entries from somewhere (which of course not change when you modify the thesaurus?

Did you try to just close and re-open IMatch?

In the middle of the keywords panel where it says enter new keywords here...
I start typing, the hierarchical keyword is in the list that appears, but it isn't being applied to the images when I click. It worked earlier, but not now. I've restarted IMatch, recreated the Thesaurus a couple of times.

Is this a real example?
The keyword you are trying to add there is already in the file...?
Clicking this thesaurus entry won't add them again.

Yes that is a real example. The flat keyword is in the file, the hierarchical one is what I need. It has worked for 1000s of files over the last couple of days, but not any longer.

BTW clicking on a Recent Keyword doesn't apply it to the selected images either.

What happens if you use a file without keywords?
Can you add keywords manually?
Did you check the thesaurus to see if these keywords contain group levels? Group levels are not added.

What happens if you use a file without keywords? Same thing, I click the file still has no keywords.
Can you add keywords manually? Not sure what you mean. If I type something that is not an existing keyword into where it says enter new keywords here... It adds that to the image
Did you check the thesaurus to see if these keywords contain group levels? Group levels are not added. They are all 'leaf' keywords

Mario

Then I have no further ideas at the moment.
Not sure what happened to your thesaurus after the operations you performed or how this can happen.

I cannot repro it. It was never reported before.

Maybe export your thesaurus, remove all contents, then re-import.
