Hi there,

I am using the latest iMatch version and doing face recognitions (in existing db).  My work flow is that I filter some categories (like test photos) out of  yearly taken photos and run fc and do confirmation of faces after each run.

Yesterday the systen had crashed during fc run (I was not at the system due to forecasted time the run will require). I restarted the system and fc continued and I could complete my work flow without further issues.

This morning I  started the system, made back up drives and started to run fc again (following year, I guess 2017 at this time). I filtered some 12000 images for the run. The systen had crashed just after some 35 images were scanned in a queue. Pls, find enclosed the log file after that crash. Could you find any explanation for the crash in the log?

The crash is revealed from the fact that I find the starting page (and the request for the password) on my screen.

Did IMatch produce a DUMP file? See The Debug Dump File
Maybe this is a stress issue? Try to reduce the number of parallel threads IMatch uses for race recognition: Making IMatch Use Less CPU

Hi,

There seem to be no dump file, unfortunately. I think the crash, maybe, took place outside iMatch, at least it did not display a message box about the crash. And, everything looked out like after a power failure. Probably the whole win10 went down.  Thus far iMatch has been very very stable, without any issue (excl. those I have created by my own misuse).

I´ll try to reduce the number of threads for the next run.

If no DUMP file is produced, the crash happened outside.

Did you perform face recognition before without problems? If so, the problem is most likely not IMatch...

That is right, I have run fc earlier without problems (it was the earlier version then).

Maybe something on your PC has changed?
Anything in the Windows event log (Admin section) about errors or warnings?
