When I perform face recognition, I often get the error message "No faces detected".
For example with the photos in the attachment.
Especially with these photos I can't understand the message.
On both the faces are well recognizable and quite large.
What is the problem?

The first image has all faces averted from the camera or very small faces. This cannot work. Not even the Google FD can find a face in this.
IMatch needs to see two eyes a nose and a mouth at least. You can retry with the "Optimize for small faces" or running the fr again the Viewer with F6.

On the second image, IMatch has no problems to detect the face of the lady facing the camera.

See attachment below.

I ran both face detections in the viewer with F6.
I can understand the explanation for the 1st photo.

Did you do the face detection for the 2nd photo in the viewer?
I always get a message with this photo that no faces were found.

Sorry, I didn't think about that.

I just ran a face detection in the File Window with Ctrl+M, F with the default settings.
IMatch has no issues with this. It detects the face in the File Window and also in the Viewer.
Have you changed any settings related to face recognition?
