People: Duplicate People with Questionmarks

The screenshot says it all.

For the screenshot, I have filtered the people by last name. so all 5 persons have the same last name.  For 3 of the 5, Imatch has created a duplicate with a questionmark.

The duplicate and the original are linked; if I click on the dupe, both the dupe and the original are highlighted, and the other way around.

I believe this happened with the upgrade to 2021.10.2 from 2020.

I don't understand. What did you do to make this happen? When did it happen?
Does this persist after restarting IMatch?
What does the database diagnosis report?
Please always include th log file.
Something similar was never reported before, so I need a lot more info.

Do I interpret this correctly? You upgraded your version from 2020 (which version exactly?) to 2021?
No problems were reported and I test this migration path regularly with a set of archived legacy 2020 databases.
