Assigning File(s) To Category(s) - Avoiding Choice Dialog

So, AFAIK, the two ways we have of assigning file(s) to category(s) are either we make use of the category assignment dialog or we can use copy-and-paste - in category view - to effect the assignment. 
In the later case, upon Ctrl+V on the category(s), the operation is prefaced with a dialog, giving two choices:  Assign the file(s) to the category(s) or create a new category with the file(s) to be added to it. 
Is there any way to bypass this dialog altogether, and just assign the file(s) to the category(s)?

Copy & Paste directly into the File Window in the Category View. Click into the File Window, then Ctrl+V. No prompt.
When you instead select a category in the category tree, IMatch needs to know what you want to do and asks.
Drag & Drop from another File Window also works.
