Das Metadatenfeld ,,Software" ({File.MD.Exif::Main\305\Software\0}) nutzte ich bisher gern, um dort Links zur eigenen Verwendung zu hinterlegen; manchmal leere ich es auch nur - vorbereitend  für eigene Einträge. Bisher konnte ich dort beides problemlos erledigen.
Jetzt geht es nicht mehr, nutze deshalb dafür ab sofort  ,,Erstellt mit" ({File.MD.XMP::xmp\CreatorTool\CreatorTool\0}).
Neue Inhalte lassen sich so problemlos eintragen, das einfache Leeren funktioniert aber nicht mehr - die eigentlich zu löschenden Inhalte werden dabei durch ,,photools.com IMatch 21.11.0.4 (Windows)" ersetzt.
Kann nicht sagen, seit wann es so ist, fiel mir erst heute auf

Bug, durch Änderungen in ExifTool und/oder Windows bedingt – oder habe ich unbeabsichtigt/unbemerkt in den Einstellungen etwas verändert – oder...? .
Ich habe kein Problem damit – und speziell ohne das  EXIF-Feld lebt man wohl auch besser.
(Windows 10 und IMatch auf aktuellem Stand)
