Hi folks

It is monday and I am still a bit lazy.  ;D

This is reall not an important thing for me, but just thought:
Is there a way to rename also folders, like files?

I have say 100 folders to rename. This is done, "manually" in 5 minutes or so, hence it is not really important.
And I am sure, this question was already aseked here or is in the help-file ... but I am too lazy still.  8) ::)

... and if you are too lazy to answer: no problem!  ;D
Best wishes from Switzerland! :-)

No batch rename for folders in IMatch.

You may want to take a look at something like https://www.bulkrenameutility.co.uk/

I haven't yet used it to rename folders (I've done so with files many times) but it's a very flexible program (and free). A useful utility.

Keep in mind that you would need to relocate each folder afterwards in IMatch!

Thanks, John and Mario

I will check this again, usually I have not hundreds of folders to rename  ;D
But sometimes it would be quite useful.

On the other hand, I could also sit down, work 1 hour and a lot of the renaming would be done!

I was also a bit lazy (ahem, or maybe better tired), because I had to create for a client something with Blender for printing, and also rendering a short video.
Phew, this program is very complicated, but very powerful. Really very good.

What I wonder, though it is such powerful with a lot of possibilities, it starts very, very quickly. (in contrary to Cura, what is sloooow for starting).

And yes, Mario,  ;D - IMatch is also very quickly, specially when I think, that it has to load a lot of things.

Uh, fine, that is is in some hours tuesday ...
Best wishes from Switzerland! :-)

Blender is great. But it's take a couple of hundred hours to get comfortable with. Like all the major 3D applications. Or Photoshop  ;D
