Search everywhere in the metadata

All my photos in the database I had managed with Adobe Photoshop Lightroom before IMatch.
At that time I had set up a keyword called "Herkunft" in which I stored which source the photo came from. Analog film, slide, scanner, etc.

Now I want to search in IMatch for all photos that come from a scanner. To do this, I search across the entire database in the file window with the "Search everywhere in the metadata" setting. I use "scanner" as the search term.
I get 70 hits. But none of these 70 photos were scanned. I know that for sure.

How can I find out where the string "scanner" is stored in the metadata?

Select a photo for which you know it contains 'scanner'.
Then look at the Metadata Panel in 'Browser' mode to learn where LR has stored your info.

If the search bar does not find it, it must be something really special. Not sure how searching all tags would miss data...

Maybe use a Metadata Value filter in the Filter Panel to see all keywords used in a scope.

Seem all too complicated thinking for me: Why not just display (in the category panel)
the keyword Herkunft?

If it's in a keyword, the search bar will find it. Please double-check your options for the search bar.
