Shutdown fail false alert?

This log file (attached) should have a record of what happened when I started IMatch and ran into the dialog, alerting me that the program had not shut down properly.  This surprised me because I had closed-out the DB, and then, the same for IMatch itself.
So, hopefully, when you analyze this log file, you'll determine what went wrong 'behind the scenes'.

Thanks

Mario

I see literally tons of errors logged about IMatch handling internal exceptions while sorting files.
This is very unusual. I don't know which sort criteria you are using or why this could cause the sort routine to constantly throw exceptions.
If you use a custom sort routine, switch back to ""Default" and see if the E> logged go away. If this is the case, please detail your sort profile and the data you are using for your sort.

This screenshot is what is involved in my sort profile:

This sort profile does involve attributes, and I'm wondering if that could be what is causing errors, at least, for this version of IMatch - Until the bug is fixed in the next release?

Mario

I have never seen this error message as far as I recall.
If you can upload this database to your cloud space, I can schedule a time slot for analyzing this.

Unfortunately, I can't upload the database as it contains data that is sensitive.  But, could the error be indicative of a failing SSD?

No. It's just that IMatch very often raises an exception (runs into a problem) when sorting the files using your sort profile.
When you switch to the Default profile in all File Windows and then close and restart IMatch, does the log file still contain lines with E> ?
