Hi Mario
Downloaded and installed just now without problems.  :D
Thanks for this! Good work as always.

A first question:
This new enhancement: / Smart Cropping for Batch Processor and Design & Print, does it really work in D&P?
I tried different images with fill and center, and then with the new Fill.smart.

I found no difference.
For this (short) test I used typical images, like in your help-file, where a person is left or right, near and far away (but also left or right). Maybe I do something wrong, but I wonder, what. Because we can simply choose this new smart cropping and than it should work.

Best wishes from Switzerland! :-)

I don't know. Should work. That this is in D&P is just is 'side effect' because D&P uses the same routines like some other features.
Are the face annotations placed correctly?
Maybe just open a bug report and I will look into this for the next IMatch release.

SORRY!   :-[

Face annotations! That's it!!! I did not thought at that.
I do not work with them. I am really sorry. So this will work for others, I think.

Later today I will explore your new, cool duration-variable.  :D
Best wishes from Switzerland! :-)

Eh, that's the purpose of this feature. It looks at faces and tries to keep them visible  :D
If there are no face annotations, the new feature cannot know where the faces are.

See this example. Top: smart fill. Bottom: standard center fill.

The smart mode sees the faces in the images and shifts the image to bring them into the visible area. Automatically.

Yes, and it looks really good, like your example shows.
Well, maybe I will one day go to the People-stuff, then I can also take advantage of this new smar-fill.

Ha, your image here is a good example, that this can be a great difference!
Best wishes from Switzerland! :-)

I've now made the face annotation info in the release notes bold, to make it stand out more.
Need to re-read the help so see if I made it clear that this is based on face annotations, so users are not confused.

I have many images which benefit from this in this folder alone. They would all come out 'wrong' when I use automatic templates and center/center positioning.
