If the username is different between the two computers, the alias should be created under Edit->Preferences: Application; Settings-> User name alias.

You only need to setup a user name Alias if you use a different user name (Windows log-in name) on the new computer. See User Name Alias

IMatch manages per-user settings based on the Windows user name. If you uses "Tom" on the old PC and "Paul" on the new PC, IMatch uses "Paul" to read and write per-user settings. The settings stored for "Tom" will not be available on the new PC.

To solve this, enter go to Edit > Preferences > Application and set Tom as the user name alias. IMatch then uses Tom instead of Paul and your settings are back after restarting IMatch.

Tip: IMatch displays the user account name in the Dashboard, in the Info Panel.
You can also open the log file (log file) and search for Logging in user
