Annotation tag to keyword

In the annotation panel of the viewer in the explanation for an annotation Tag field it is written: 

User defined tag for this object. If configured under Edit > Preferences > Metadata, IMatch converts the tag into keyword automatically. 

What exactly has to be configured to have annotation tags converted into keywords?

I shall update this help item. This feature was retired back in 2002, when IMatch became real face annotations.
