Viewer: turning Filmstrip ON/OFF should not switch position.

In the viewer pressing T,S turns the Filmstrip ON or OFF or moves it to another screen side.

If the Filmstrip is not shown and T,S is pressed it should show the Filmstrip at the previous position
i.e. it should not show it on a new position.

or in other words:
Pressing T,S should only switch the filmstrip  to another screen position if at the time of pressing the filmstrip is visible.

I'm in agreement but what is simply needed is a separate command to make the thumbnail strip visible or hidden, then the current T,S toggle can be left as it is although the action to hide the strip rather than reposition it would become redundant.
