Events Missing

I have upgraded to IMatch 2023; the dashboard view says I have 293 events (which seems about right).

The events view however shows nothing.

Attempting to open an add to event window from the Media & Folders view (Control-Alt-E) pops open the Imatch Event Editor window that doesn't have anything in it; it looks like it has failed to initialise (the close window button is disabled) which then requires a force-kill of Imatch via the taskmanager.

Strange.
Close IMatch and then delete this folder:

C:\ProgramData\photools.com\IMatch6\browser

IMatch usually does this automatically when an update is installed but maybe this has failed.

Also always include a ZIipped copy of the IMatch log file (see log file) when you report problems.
If IMatch runs into a problem, it logs information to the log file, which can be helpful to understand what the problem is.

Folder deleted; still no access to the events.

Everything else (People, apps, etc), seems fine - no errors in the log either (attached; debug mode).

I have exactly the same problem. Installetion of iMatch 2023 worked without any problems, but Events don't show up any more (empty window) and if I want to add a new event, the event editor pops up and can't be closed anymore so that I need to close iMatch by the task manager.

I've figured it out. The problem is a missing comma in a resource file for the event view!
Not sure how the build process could have missed that.

Please download the attached ZIP file.
Extract it.
Copy the contents of the ZIP into this folder on your system:

C:\ProgramData\photools.com\IMatch6\webroot\imatch\apps\FEATURES\events\timeline

replacing the contents of that folder.
Now events should work again. If not, clear the browser cache folder again.

I will prepare an update for IMatch and publish it today.

Hi Mario,

There wasn't an folder called timeline in the Features folder originally.

However, that's made no difference to the events view :-(

Mario

Sorry. The correct folder is

C:\ProgramData\photools.com\IMatch6\webroot\imatch\apps\FEATURES\events\timeline

Hi Mario,
this worked. The events are back now. But the events from "Today over the Years" show the events from yesterday over the years (13.06.) not from today.

Good news; that's brought the events view back.  :)

However, it hasn't brought the Add File to Event back.  :'(

All fixed for the upcoming release. A few hours time.
