New member startup quesstion

Hi, I am extremely new to photools and am demoing it to see if it 1) is stable, and two fits my work flow.  I have a questions that would help me start up:

BTW....I did a search on this and did not see an applicable answer
.  I also viewed the learning videos.
1. Is there a view in PT that mimics file explorer (no thumbnail) just file name and details,  that I can use pick and rate files?

Welcome to the community.

You can use one of the tabular layouts for the File Window. See File Window Layouts

Here is a tabular layout with thumbnail. You can change layouts to not showing a thumbnail at all, too.

Thank you for your answer and quick response.  This looks like it will work. Don't worry about the second question.  I have dozens and don't want to wear out my welcome before I exhaust online resources.   ...So much to learn on a new app and I have a couple of projects due. I finally had enough of my old DAM crashing. Thank you again.

You can use and customize one of the layouts included with IMatch, or create your own to show exactly what you want and in the way you want it.
