Keywords (and/or categories) quickly into favorites discretely

Now that the metadata panel facilitates easy copy/paste of metadata between files, allowing me to have a quick and swift copy of my file's 8 keywords into another newly ingested file, I was wondering if there is any way I could now have an equally quick method, along these lines, of getting those 8 keywords into one of my favorite groups (as 8 discrete favorites, and not just a splasher)?

Drag them from the Categories Panel in the Favorites panel, one by one, to create individual favorites.
This should be real quick.

The problem here is that the categories panel supports the dragging of categories to the favorites panel only via the Categories tab, not the Current tab.  And, that makes the one-by-one drag-and-drop operation a slow process, because it is first, necessary to find those eight keywords (among the tens of thousands) in the tree, from which to drag to the favorites panel.  This is tedious.

It would be fine, if the Current tab of the categories panel allowed one-by-one dragging into the favorites panel, but it doesn't.  So, do I have any alternatives?
