Ignore unwanted face annotations

In search of a solution I came across the following Topic. I have had the same problem for quite some time. Also in the latest version 2023.2.4. If I mark faces with "I"-Ignore and save them, they are still always called for confirmation when I run the "People Organizer".

Ignoring a face annotation does not impact other face annotations, even if they show the same face! If this is what you mean.
If you have no use for a face, delete the annotation. Ignoring a face is meant to retain the info that there is a face, but IMatch should not assign a person to that face annotation. This does not affect other faces of the same person.

The People Organizer should be run only once, usually. Why do you run it multiple times?
It works with very specific settings. To get an initial assignment of persons. I think it might even ignore ignored faces.

I've checked the People Organizer.
It indeed did not ignore ignored faces. I have fixed that bug for the next release.
Since this was never reported before, I doubt many users will ever have run into this problem. Not many users use the People Organizer, since this is a rather brute-force approach and only useful in very specific situations.
