Hello,

i am trying to optimize my iMatch workflow, thus, many questions come up. Sorry about that.

Assume a file that is part of a formula based category (name myFormCat).
This file is selected in the file window of the media&folders tab.
How can i find out that this file is actually part of the myFormCat category?

I tried the following and also checked the help, but it seems all iMatch panels or apps show only direct assignments or data-driven ones (category dashboard, category panel, file category panel).

Have a nice weekend
Ben

Use color-coding for your formula categories so you see it in File Windows?
Or use the {File.Categories} variable, which returns all categories a file belongs to, direct or "indirect" via formula.

Figuring out if a File is in a formula-based category can be very expensive and hence this is not used for the Category Panel Current tab or the File Categories Panel.
