Disable the popup new update available message?

Mario is there a way to disable the IMatch notice that pops up to tell us you have released a new update?

The reason I ask is because when that popup appears to inform us of a new update, IMatch freezes on my computer.
Clicking on any link in that popup message does nothing and I can't close the popup or do anything else with IMatch.  I have to use the Windows task manager to terminate IMatch and then I can go download and install the update.

Mario

Strange. This should be a regular Windows dialog box.
Can you show a screen shot?

I can but I'll have to wait until you release the next update because that's the only time it happens.

Mario

At least every 30 days IMatch checks for updates and if one is found, it opens a "task dialog" to inform you.
This works that way for many years. Is this a new phenomenon or was it that way for a long time?

Note: If you have experimental features enabled, this task dialog is no longer used.

I assume you mean this task dialog that causes the problem?

Yes, that's the dialog I can't close or click on any options, it's like it paralyzes IMatch.  I tried clicking to see if another dialog might be open in the background which was preventing me from updating IMatch or closing that dialog but I didn't see anything.

Mario

Hm, this seems to be something that is pretty unique. I don't recall a similar report, ever.
If you enable experimental options, IMatch uses the new updater, which does not show this message.

Ok, I just enabled experimental features.
Thanks Mario.
