I want to hide all versions to see only files which are not part of a stack (master and versions). I have selected the filter as shown on the screen grab. But why are the version still shown?

ADMIN: Removed image of persons. Posting images of identifiable persons requires the explicit permissions of these persons (which I have not seen) and is generally not a good idea and violates the GDPR here in Europe.

Stacks means regular stacks, not stacks implicitly created by versions.
You want to hide versions (there is an option for that and one for hiding masters).

Please post the image again, but clip the persons.

The only person which can be identified is me. I grant the permission to show an image of me. The Kölner Dreigestirn and their Équipe are official representatives and can be shown without any explicit permission as long as it is an officiall event. And it was officially because it was the "Grünkohlessen" of our Carnival Club.

How can I assure you the next time about a permission?
