Does IMatch by default show nef's, tiff's and jpg's, for example, using the display profile? Also, I see that there is a preference "enable color management for thumbnails". I'm not sure if this should be on or off if I want to see the files using my display profile.

Mario

IMatch is fully color-managed.
Color management for thumbnails is off by default for performance reasons. This is an old setting.
When I introduced it in 2001, computers could run into performance trouble when IMatch asked Windows to color-manage thumbnails. With today's computers, it should not make much of a a difference.

Thanks! If there is any difference, I can't see it.

You mean for thumbnails?
At that small size you need to use extreme profiles to see any difference. sRGB/AdobeRGB/ProPhoto RGB and a "normal" monitor profile won't show much of a difference for thumbnails. Which is why CM is off by default, in favor of slightly faster loading and display. CM is always on in the Viewer, Quick View Panel etc.

Yes, I was thinking of thumbnails. I will leave CM off now, knowing it's always on in the viewer.
