How do you refresh thumbnails?

I have been opening images in Photoshop from IMatch, cropping them and then returning to IMatch. At the end of editing a batch of photos, I rebuild the cache so that the images display correctly in View and Quick View. However, I have been unable to find a way of refreshing the thumbnails so that they display the newly cropped images correctly. How do I do this?

When Photoshop saves a file that is in your IMatch database, IMatch will automatically rescan the image, re-creating the thumbnail and cache image as needed.

IMatch monitors Windows file system messages and rescans modified folders. It detects new files and updates files via their "last modified" timestamp. If IMatch is not running while you're editing files in Photoshop, it will automatically detect new and updated files via an initial folder scan when it starts the next time.

You never have to refresh files manually. I work with Photoshop almost every day.
In Photoshop you must have the "Maximize Compatibility" option enabled. Else Photoshop does not update the embessed composite image.

If this does not work, make sure that you have not disabled the background indexing under Edit menu > Preferences > Background Processing. "Import new and updated files automatically" must be enabled.

Thank-you Mario, my problem was because of the second factor - auto updating the files was off - its all working fine now.

That explains that. This setting is a left-over from the old days and really should be removed now.
