I have a Photolab favourite in the File Window toolbar but no corresponding favourite in favourites application. See attached screenshot.

How do I remove this favourite from the File Window Toolbar?

I have two icons like that -Happen to not bother me - but I have the same question.

This is not a favorite.
IMatch constructs this menu dynamically, asking Windows for the application associated with the currently focused file.
Apparently, DxO is associated with RW2 files on your system.

You can change associated applications as usual in Windows Explorer.

See also Using the Quick Access menu in the File Window for more information.

Now you explained it, it makes perfect sense. Thank you.
The problem for mere mortals like us Mario is that imatch is so rich that we only discover these wonderful features by accident. I wish I had time to read the manual and discover all the golden nuggets!

Yes, I had two Photolab icons which confused me. Now we know!

I can click the first icon if I want to open the folder in Photolab, the second icon if I want to open the selected images. Cool!!!!

The old problem.

I cannot do more than providing

- on-screen tips for new or unused features
- 'New' popups for new features introduced but not yet used by the user
- "Mind" popups which show for important features (as considered by me) that haven't been used for a while
- a <F1> key context-sensitive comprehensive help system
- the "Did You Know?" app which explains useful but often overlooked features and options
- free video tutorials

IMatch and I try a lot. In the end, it's up to the user.

Reading a help topic for 10 minutes can often save you one hour of work per week, because you now use a previously unused feature that speeds up your workflow.

Keeping the DYK app open and reading a topic each time you use IMatch has proved to be very helpful.

In my case I do have icons which I can not get rid of. They also have larger dimensions
and have been around since the early days. They still work and that's why they were not bothering me.
They call an app. As shown I can add these again and delete them also. Only the first two in the list
are stuck.

As far as I am concerned there is no need to fix this.

This looks like you have some custom apps added to the File Window toolbar?
Maybe you did that via link points in the app.json configuration file belonging to these apps? See linkPoints in the developer documentation: https://www.photools.com/dev-center/doc/imatch/tutorial-app-json.html
