...can you visit the photools.com blog https://www.photools.com/blog/ and read some of the recent posts?
That would be awesome

You'll learn something about IMatch and DAM for free, and the blog gets some extra Google points because of visitors.

Mario, I spotted a couple of small typos in the Workflow Categories Article:

In the Assignment Action section, it should be "For an image..." (you probably had "file" there before, or thought "file", but wrote "image"):

In the Versioning and Propagation section, "automatically" is there twice:

In https://www.photools.com/4588/free-controlled-vocabularies-imatch/, I see some broken "widget" entries, like
[siteorigin_widget class="thinkup_builder_imagetheme"][/siteorigin_widget]
See the paragraphs "What is a Controlled Vocabulary?", "Importing Lightroom Keyword Lists", "Result".

Then, in https://www.photools.com/10524/why-keywords-headlines-and-descriptions-matter/, in paragraph "3. Accuracy", there seems to be something missing at then end of the sentence:
IMatch's unique thesaurus concept makes it easy to create and use a
controlled vocabulary. Whether you create a vocabulary yourself or you
import an existing free or commercial vocabulary, IMatch makes it easy to use. See the

But otherwise, a nice read :)

@thrinn Thanks, all fixed. The sitebuilder fragments are left-overs from the previous them I had to remove with ax and a shovel after switching to as new WordPress version. Never again I will use a theme that uses custom components to make things work.

My recent more frequent blog updates are already working!

I've got twice as many "Can we write an article for your blog?" emails over the past days.
These emails come from "content farms" which write shill articles for blogs, advertising products or service. And then pay the blog owner to post these articles on their blog.

Needless to say that I don't participate in this.
I could also make a few extra bucks by posting ads in this community, but I don't like that either.

Mario, would it possible to make a kind of subscription to the blog to get informed about a new post? Found some interesting older posts, but I never was aware of them.

Note, sorry. This would require me to install a plug-in (always adds another security risk) and also to maintain a list of email addresses of subscribers in a database, with all the double-opt-in and checks required by the GDPR (another plug-in required to do that). Too much effort, sorry.

I'll try to keep things simple and except for the required "cookies banner", I don't use any plug-ins. This keeps the maintenance requirements low and the attack vectors shallow.

Maybe I'll do a post in the Announcements forum when I make an new blog post.
I do the blog posts mostly for the Google bot. Also the formatting and wording is designed for Google primarily, not for humans. Google likes sites which do frequent updates and use all the SEO words and have pictured in blog articles and whatnot.
And when Google does not like how your site looks and the blog posts are formatted, they push you down in their search results, making you invisible...

I just added Mario's blog to my Feedly feed. Worked fine, so I see all new posts. Perhaps any RSS feed reader would also work.

Mario

Good idea. I think WordPress always supports RSS feeds for blogs? Never tried it.
The URL should be www.photools.com/feed/ if I'm not mistaken.
