Hi,
where are the settings for 'Metadata/collections/label(s)', accessible via the menu 'Settings/Metadata/XMP-Labels', stored? I want to transfer these settings from one PC to another without copying each entry manually.
Regards, Hans

Mario

The custom labels are stored in your IMatch database.

Sorry, a misunderstanding. I don't mean the label values. In the menu 'Settings/Metadata/XMP-Labels'  I can add new label names and assign colors to them. Necessary for e.g. Capture One which uses german names for the color labels. 'red' is 'Rot' and so on. And I added these label names and assgned the correct colors to them.
This info I'd like to export to another PC.
Regards, Hans

I understood you correctly. When a new database is created, IMatch initializes it with a set of XMP label names / colors used by a wide range of application. The labels are stored in the IMatch database. When you later add, remove and rename labels, change colors or order, these changes also stored in the database.

When you copy the database to another PC, your labels will be there.
There is an import command to (re-)import labels used in the metadata of the files in the database, but there is no export function for custom label names - I don't think many users will ever need this.
