Disappearing Metadata - Retrievable?

I had a strange event today, when I did a WB for a number of files, some of the tags I updated disappeared on the read back.  I noticed they were all part of the PLUS:Xmp tag family.

Digging further - I looked at the Tag Manager and saw that the PLUS:Xmp group was unchecked.   It is quite odd as I haven't been in the tag manager for a very long time (practically forgot it existed).

I checked the box for that tag group in the tag manager and then write-backs of those tags worked.

However, for the files which I had done a write-back earlier the whole PLUS:Xmp tag group is missing in iMatch.  I did a 'Rescan Now' but that did not retrieve these tags.    The Metadata Analyst shows the tags still exist in the file (hooray).

As one more data point, I looked at files I wrote-back yesterday and they look fine.  This mysterious tag manager change occurred very recently.

Questions:

   1. How do I force iMatch to retrieve the tags from the affected files?

   2. Are there any other settings or actions that could make a tag manager setting change as a side-affect?

As always, thanks for the support.

Okay - I have solved #1.

I click the pen icon on a tag and do a write-back - on the read-back it brings back in the PLUS:xmp tag family.

So, all good.

Just a mystery why that tag family became excluded at some point in the day.   Probably a mystery that will remain a mystery.

Select the files, <Shift>+<Ctrl>+<F5> Reload Metadata

The XMP::Plus is enabled for import in the Tag Manager by default but can be modified by the user.
