Hello, when I try to change the autotagger configuration I get this mistake and I have to close. It happens to me in any of the options I frame in red.

Also the F7 key does nothing.

I am testing with Ollama and works well, but I can't enter the Prompt configuration.

I have activated Debugging, but I don't remember files I have to send you.

Mario

Please upload the DUMP file IMatch produces and send me a link. See The Debug Dump File
I've worked with AutoTagger the entire weekend on 3 computers (+2 virtual Windows instances) and I have not experienced this once.

I will see errors and warnings logged by IMatch and where the crash happened.
<F7> opens the AutoTagger dialog box. You can also open it from the Command Palette or the Commands > Image menu.

Philcz

I have the same problem. I tried to create dump file, but it was not created (for 15 minutes)

I've had a quick lock at the OP's DUMP file and it seems that the problems is not AutoTagger but a crash in the spell checker (!) because the user has not installed a dictionary for his language...

The DUMP file is created by Windows, and how long it takes is usually depends on the amount of RAM installed and some other factors. As soon as Windows reports "done" to the crash handler in IMatch, it will let you know.

Do you have a spell checker dictionary installed?
If not, do so: The IMatch Spell Checker and maybe the problem goes away.
Which Windows version do you use?

I have not been able to reproduce this with IMatch 2025 installs on Windows 11 and 10, with or without spell checker dictionaries installed.

Perfect Mario! THX. It works. I realy did not have dictionary.

Hm. Stange. No change in the 3rd party spell checker component between IMatch 2023 and 2025. And I cannot reproduce this here, even for fresh installations on fresh Windows 11 installations. Hm.
I shall investigate this over the next couple of days.

Installing the dictionary also fixed the error. My computer is windows 11, 64GB.

I try this prompt but the language is english.

[[-c-]] Describe this image in the style of a news caption. Use spanish language.

I have also tried to create the prompt in Spanish, but the same thing happens, do I have to change the language somewhere?

Which model are you using? OpenAI? Mistral? LLAvA? Not all models support different languages? Try Mistral or OpenAI first. For Ollama, try the LLamaVision model.

I have installed ollama llama3.2-vision:latest and configured it in the preferences, but it seems that the chat always looks for the first model. I have tried closing imatch, but it keeps happening.

Mario

The chat app is a bit of side show, successor of the AI playground. If you want to use a really comfy local AI runner with a user interface, have a look at the free LM Studio.

I've tested the Chat App and it works here with all models Ollama lists. It appears you don't have a model selected:
