Download Issues?

The Order and Payment process went very smoothly, but I did have one small glitch downloading the Installer.

It was likely just a one-off issue, but I thought I should report it just in case.

Also, I wonder if perhaps emails might not be working...(or maybe being blocked?).  Like RainerG, I also did not receive an email:

But the "Order Completion Page" that was presented, included the new License Key, so I simply logged out of the Customer Portal, and logged back in with the IMatch 2025 Key...(I completed the order last night, but as of this writing, still do not have an email).

The small glitch I experienced was as follows:

For the IMatch 2025 Product, the button initially says "Download (64-bit Version)":

Clicking that button then puts up a "Perparing..." message for a little less than a second, and then the button changes to "Download Your Product":

When I clicked that button initially, it took me to a "not found" page:

I'm not sure if it took logging out and back in, or if it was just a few refreshes of the page, that  "reset" the button to it's initial state (of saying "Download (64-bit Version)"), but once I got to that point, and clicked the button again (to get the "Perparing..." message, and the "Download Your Product" button), the download then proceeded immediately.

I ran the installer this morning, and Windows Defender issued a complaint...(maybe something should be added to the "Welcome to IMatch 2025" Help Topic about that?):

I simply clicked the run anyway button, and the Install went smoothly.

I have split your post because it does not really belong into the pleasant purchase process? thread.

I have downloaded the 2025 release multiple times from different computers and using different user accounts. No problem. No reports from other users.

This is most likely a one-time glitch or some browser plug-in which kicked in and caused an issue. Or maybe the servers were overloaded just in this very second. I don't know.

When this happens again, try <F5> to reload the page.

Windows Defender considers everything that is not digitally signed by Microsoft or a company on Microsoft's secret white list and which has not been downloaded many times as dangerous and that it has to protect you. Considering that many users out download and install anything from any fishy web site which promises them riches, bitcoin or pr*n for free, this is probably a good thing.

IMatch users are smart and can read that this file has been digitally signed by me.

I've had all the bla-bla about Windows Defender on the Download page but removed it years ago, knowing that most users now know what this message means. I cannot add any virus checker or Windows warning dialog into the help. There are 50+ virus checkers...
