Hi Mario,

I try to update iMatch but I'm getting the next error:

"Het spijt ons dat uw bestelling niet geaccepteerd kan worden. We waarderen uw zaken en zouden u graag willen helpen met het voltooien van deze bestelling. Neem alstublieft contact met ons op voor hulp."

It was already a bad translation into Dutch but when I translate it to German I get:

"Es tut uns leid, dass Ihre Bestellung nicht angenommen werden kann. Wir freuen uns über Ihr Geschäft und möchten Sie bei der Abwicklung dieser Bestellung unterstützen. Bitte kontaktieren Sie uns für Unterstützung."

Don't know what to do now.... thanks in advance,

Greetings,
Rien.

I have no idea, I'm not involved in payment processing. If you have used a credit card or PayPal, maybe the purchase was declined due to some error? Can happen.

You can contact FastSpring Consumer support via

https://fastspring.com/consumer-support/topics/checkout-and-purchasing/

This offers answers for typical questions and has a chat link at the bottom right.
There is also a contact link where you can send a question to FastSpring support.

Thanks Mario, I contacted them and wait now for a response.

Hi Mario,

No explantion why.... I received this answer:

"We appreciate your recent attempt to place an order with us. However, I regret to inform you that we are unable to accept your order at this time. Please try again with an alternate payment method. Let us know if that attempt is unsuccessful. We understand this situation may be inconvenient, and we sincerely apologize for any frustration it may cause."

Simple question,

Can I pay with an alternative emailaddress? Does this influence my current license?

Thanks!

Mario

This sounds like your credit card company has declined the purchase. Which they can do for any reason, like, you buying from FastSpring for the first time or from the wrong location. Many reasons.
This is why FastSpring must ask you to pay via e.g. PayPal, wire transfer or whatever there is.

No problem with that. You can then access IMatch 2025 with the new email and license key, and the older IMatch licenses and IMA, when you have it, using your old email.

You can also change the new email address to the old after logging into the customer portal. Click on "My Data" at the top and enter your old email address. Once confirmed, you can access all your licenses again with the old email address.

Hi Mario,

I don't think it's my creditcard. Every payment-method fails.
With my alternative emailadress I didn't have any problems paying the upgrade.

I already changed my emailadress back to the original one in the customer portal.

Thanks for your help!

Can you check your email address on

https://haveibeenpwned.com/

and

https://sec.hpi.de/ilc/?lang=en

My guess would be that your email address was stolen in a phishing campaign and then used for illegal purposes. This will flag your email in all blacklists and with all payment processors.

We get many "bot" registrations every day, trying to worm into this community to spread misinformation, place ads for p*rn web sites, and worse. And bitcoin.

Sometimes I look of the emails used with the services above, and find out that they have been stolen and already registered. I identify the bots via their IP address and common blacklists. Interestingly, 99% of the spam bots use gmail.com addresses.

Hi Mario, Rien,

I too had this problem yesterday with my regular mail address.
Bying with my alternative mail address solved the problem and let me buy the upgrade.
I just checked https://haveibeenpwned.com/ with my primary email and according to that site it was indeed compromised.
So my advice is to try another mail address.

That's always bad. So many break-ins and hacks.
Of course credit card companies. PayPal etc. have to check such things and act accordingly.

I still get SPAM to the adobe_nnn@photools.com email I've used years ago to purchase Photoshop and then Adobe got hacked, and spilled all customer emails...

What's even worse is when this affects a Google email address. Google may suspend or even close your account, and there is virtually nothing you can do about it. No person to speak to etc. And if you have data in Google Drive - it is gone, without a chance to recovery. Same for Apple, Amazon, Hotmail etc.

Hi Mario,

For me the same story! I was pwned and a few sites were present in the list. Lucky for me was that all these sites were updated in the past with an (almost) uncrackable password: 20 random characters (created by Bitwarden).

Thanks for the tip!

Greetings (also from the Netherlands),

Rien.

Hi Mario, Rien,

In my case the list only contained old sites that are no longer in use.
I use my primary mail address already for a long, long time and yes: shit happens.
Fortunately I use a password manager (first Last|Pass and now Bitwarden) to create complex passwords.
So the password for one site differs from that for another site.

Rien, have funt with your update. Its good!

Kind regards from Holland
