I Imported Layouts in the wrong Panel

By mistake, I went to the file window layouts (instead of the Metadata Panel Layouts) and imported system.imfwl (instead of system.immdl).

See attached.

Did I do anything wrong to my install by making this error?

You cannot import Metadata Panel Layouts into File Windows.
These are all File Window layouts.
Just delete the layouts you don't need anymore. The newly imported layouts are identified by the number (1).

Or, for a reset:

1. Open the layout editor.
2. Remove all layouts except your personal layouts
3. Import the default layouts again. They will be merged with your existing layouts.
