In v2023 there was an option to view (and edit) the list of AI generated keywords before applying them to an image, but I'm not seeing that in v2025. They get applied immediately now. I can edit them in the Keywords panel, but I'm just checking to see if this is an intentional change or if I missed something.

This is how AutoTagger works. It is designed to work in the background, without user interaction.
If you really must process each file individually, open the Keywords Panel, run AutoTagger for a file, and then review and edit the keywords assigned in the Keywords Panel.

But that should be rarely needed if your Thesaurus is good and/or you have setup keyword mapping according to your requirements.

See Keyword Mapping and Transformations in the AutoTagger help.

Now you confused me. Mario, I have to test that.

Does this mean that you just use the vocabulary in iMatch thesarus?
For me this is very important because I don´t want iMatch to contamine my controlled vocabulary.
I have developed that in PhotoMechnaic for four years.

I also think it was good in the 2023 that I could decide to limit the number of keywords suggestions and delete suggestions that don´t suite my taste.

I hope I will like what I see because I´m very open for a migration

I recommend reading Keyword Mapping and Transformations, which explains how AutoTagger enables you to map, convert, extend, and ignore keywords produced by the AI of your choice, and how to utilize your thesaurus on top of it.
