Is there anyone else that has migrated from PhotoMechanic to iMtach and have experienced differences in Geolocations (GPS) set in PhotoMechanic when seeing the same locations in iMatch.

I´m pretty sure isn´t at all an iMatch-problem since I know this has been an issue among other PM users too.

The red point in the sea outside Promenade des Anglais in Nice is the PM Plus suggestion and the yellow arrow under the white infobox is where the war monuments actually are situated.

I have realized I will have to redo all that job I earlier have done in PM Plus.

Luckily iMtach works really well together with Google Maps and the OpenStreetMap that I usually prefer before Google´s maps.

Not sure what you mean. Usually the GPS data in the metadata of your ARW file shows the location where the picture has been taken, not the object your camera was aiming at.

There is a "location created" and "location shown" in EXIF GPS and XMP IPTC.
One is used to indicate the camera standpoint, and one is to indicate what the camera was aiming at.
Both are optional.

See Destination Coordinates ('Location Shown') and Displaying the Field of View (FOV) and Directions for more info.

When you look at the metadata of this image in the IMatch Metadata Panel using the "6. IPTC Location" layout, what does it show? Since PM uses only old IPTC metadata which does not support the structured IPTC location tags we use today (I think?) I wonder what's in the file. A screen shot of the Map Panel is in no way helpful. We need to see the GPS data in the image, the GPS data in the sidecar file etc.

Upload the image and the XMP file, if any, and post a link. This gives us something to work with.
