Rejecting faces.

I can see some forum posts from 5 years ago about rejecting faces. Is this currently possible? I have some unconfirmed face matches that I want to send back and try again.

To be clear, I don't want to delete, and I don't want to ignore. I just want to be able to grab 300 photos (for example) and say, "not this person, but try again with other faces and I'll deal with it later"

I'm aware that I can F2 reassign in the face manager, that seems a slow process, sometimes there are 50 different unconfirmed faces.

The reject feature has been removed a while ago. It did not work well. And it would have not worked for your purpose anyway.

You can press <G> in the Viewer to pick another "matching face" for the selected annotation, which is very quick in most cases.
In the File Window context menu you can swap person A with person B for any number of selected files, you can ignore or delete faces with options for any number of selected files. I guess this is the best way to deal with that.

You can also exclude persons from being considered for automatic assignments in the People View.

Thanks for clarifying. I had tried all the suggestions you've given.

1. When using the viewer, is there a keystroke to accept (and auto advance). I've tried <G>, but it involves <tab> <G>, mouse click, <tab>/<right arrow>. <space> and <enter> advance/return to file window. I've tried auto advance, but it doesn't seem to do anything.

2. In case it helps, I'll better explain the use case for my original question: I have confirmed photos of a friend's kid (about 40 photos). In the face manager for that kid there are unconfirmed photos of my kids, thousands of one and hundreds of the other. Very similar photos were recognized correctly many times. Sorting these out manually is slow, even with multi selecting in face manager and <F2>. I was tempted to delete the friend's kid and make iMatch try again, but this scenario is repeated many times.

My unconfirmed count has gone from 90,000 to 46,000. But I think I've got most of the easy ones. Any tips would be appreciated.

<Tab> is required to select a face annotation.
Press <G> to change the person until satisfied.
<Cursor right> to move to the next image.

Start by confirming 10 or 20 images or your kids.
Then check the trained faces in Face Manager. Usually IMatch learns faces and persons real fast, unless you have many really similar-looking faces (e.g. young kid siblings, identical twins, etc.).

Not sure what you mean by your friends kids and your kids.
Just confirm a couple of images of each person and IMatch does the rest.
Keep an eye on the images you train, that's the most common reason for low recognition rate.
