I want to add the property "Image Size" to my custom Metadata Panel. I identified it in the Metadata Browser Panel with the variable {File.MD.Composite\ImageSize\ImageSize\0} and the name "Image Size".
But I didn't find this tag in the Tag Selector to add it to my panel. Does anyone know how to add the "Image Size" Information to my Panel?

Thank you in advance for your help,
Gerd

Hi Gerd.  Did you search all tags for size?

Hi John

Thank your for your help. Yes I searched for 'size'. Then the Tag Selector displayed a lot of entries and I didn't thought, that this could be the result list.
With your screenshot I discovered the Composite Entry an the Image Size property.

Next time I will have a closer look ;). Thank you.

This would also be the tag I use. The Metadata Panel can display everything that's metadata, currently over 13,000 different values.
But it does not access IMatch-internal data like file dimensions or size or whatnot - the data you can e.g. use in the file window, viewer, slide show, into tips etc. Two different concepts entirely.

To mix data from all kinds of sources, IMatch gives you the App Panel. Using a custom HTML template you can mix data from all sources, basically everything that can be accessed via a variable. Such HTML templates are for display purposes only. I ship a number of HTML templates with IMatch, check them out.

Even more powerful are IMatch Apps. Apps give you an enormous amount of power and flexibility to display, and edit, metadata in many ways. If none of the built-in display/edit features is sufficient, a user can write an App which does whatever he needs.

Beginning of this week I reviewed an App written by a small stock agency for their editors. This little App streamlines the entire workflow from processing images, workflow status transfers, metadata input and verification. Very impressive. One of their web designers (!) wrote the App within two days, never having used IMatch 5 before. Kudos, Joachim! Typical review/processing time for new images has been cut at least by half.

Or look at John's custom metadata panel, which displays all the info he wants, in the way he wants it. Also pretty cool. I have some cool App ideas for the time after IMatch 5 has been released. But what we have no already is outstanding already. Just look at the QR App which allows you to transfer data from IMatch 5o a smart phone with the click of a button. The DataMap App. The VarToy App (really useful).  This stuff is so exciting, get's me every time...
