Collections filter: select using "-" rather than INVERT results

I am talking about the Collection Filter: Clicking on a square adds a "+"  but if I want a minus I have to
check the INVERT Results on the bottom.

It would be more consistent to allow setting a "-" (minus) for excluding a collection. This would also increase the functionality
because it would allow filters like " Bookmarks but not GREEN pins"

I agree.  It would make the Collections filter consistent with the Categories filter, and negation is a fundamental feature of database queries.

As a new user, I quickly learned to use the Categories filter to find images that are "Trees", but do not have the keyword "Autumn".  It's disappointing to not be able to use the Collections filter to find images that have green pins, but not red dots.  The Collections filter is much less useful without negation for individual items.
