Backup Options

Backup strategy has been discussed a number of times on the forum. Today, the Anandtech website posted a new article, "Averting Disaster - A Guide to Computer Backups (2014)" http://www.anandtech.com/show/8030/backup-guide

It's a good overview of the issue, and includes some platform-specific discussion of different options including some step-by-step directions for using specific tools.

If nothing else, it's a useful prompt to review one's own backup strategies.
