Copying date and time using a Metadata Template

I'm trying to copy the date and time from Date Created to the Date Digitized field on some of my photos as the Digitized date is wrong on some of them.

Using the Metadata Template I created a new Template, in the Tags Box I have  XMP::xmp\CreateDate.
In the Fill this Tag from this Data Box I have XMP::photoshop\DateCreated\DateCreated\0

On a photo the Date Created shows as 07/08/2003 00:29:03+01:00

When I run the Template on a photo the Digitized Date  changes to 07/08/2003 00:29:03

When I then click on the yellow pencil on the Thumbnail to write the Metadata then select another Thumbnail then go back to the one I have just modified the Date now shows as 2003:00:29 03:00

Any ideas where I am going wrong.

I think I may have cracked it.

By using {XMP::photoshop\DateCreated\DateCreated\0 |format:YYYY:MM:DD hh:mm:ss}

the date shows the same.
