Hi

Is there a way to configure the 'show detail' view of the film strip?

The reason why I am asking is that I just discovered I would really like to use the 'show details' option
but the thumbnails are not using the full space and are display unnecessarily small.

Thanks
Chris

I assume you tried working with the 'Change item size' slider?

Change item size slider is for the file window. Not available in the film strip in the Viewer.

The thumbnails in the film strip are always quadratic. They usually work best when top or bottom, not on the side. All text is oriented horizontally and by docking the film strip vertically you restrict things further.

And no, there are no options for the film strip. We have too many options in IMatch already, and each option creates additional complexity, documentation and maintenance overhead etc. You are free to add a feature request.

You can show any detail you want in the popup.
You can customize the text overlay to show all the info you want.
You have a number of gadgets to display information in the Viewer itself.
And you may show the file name and some other details in the film strip.
If this is still not enough, add a feature request. We'll see how many users want this too.
