Sometimes IMatch thinks it's already running when it's not

Several times, I have cleanly exited the application. When I try to relaunch, IMatch says that it's already running. In these case, I found that the process "IMatch5.exe *32" is running but the application is not. It's an easy enough thing to kill the process, and then launch the application. But this shouldn't happen. There doesn't seem to be any particular pattern to the occurrence of this problem. Sometimes, IMatch cleanly shuts down including the process and sometimes it doesn't. Maybe this occurs about 25% of the time or more. The issue is not time related e.g. rapid exit and restart of the application. I can wait one hour or more and find that the errant process is running.

I'm using version 5.2.6 but the problem happened in 5.1 as well.

Do you run scripts?

Switch IMatch do Debug logging (Help menu > Support > Debug Logging) so we get detailed info in the log file. When this happens again, keep the log file (see the IMatch help on logfile for details), ZIP and attach. This allows me to see for what IMatch is waiting.
