Rescanning Folders Without Sub Folders

I'm sorry if this is answered elsewhere in this forum, but I couldn't find.  Is it possible to rescan the folder for changes, but not to include the sub folders?

For what would that good for?

1. IMatch automatically detects changes made to folders and rescans them in the background
2. When you have enabled the option to include sub-folders (Edit > Preferences > Indexing) IMatch will include sub-folders when you manually rescan the parent folder.
