Hi all
I used today with the new release 5.2.0.12 the new Tag Manager and added only some fields to the defaults.
I think, about 12 additional Nikon-fields, all other groups and fields I left, like Mario did "pre-installed".

I checked this preferences with some images (from different years, with different cameras - ups, I had once even a Olympus CL2500  8) ) and then I let run the diagnostics.

All went fine, two errors, what IMatch did repair, and as you can see in the log below, IMatch trimmed out against 19 Millions rows.
Not that bad. I will let run the "Compact and optimize" - tool, but not know, because this will take one hour or so and I have not more the time.   :-\

Wanted only, that you can see, what we can save with this new Tag Manager.
BTW: I was always a bit worried, to write too much in the Attributes for example, because all takes space, but now, when I look at 19 Millions rows, I am a bit more relaxed  ;D

Very good. You should experience a better performance for all metadata-related features, e.g. search, filters, data-driven categories and such.

The biggest chunks of data in an IMatch database are the thumbnails (naturally) and the metadata. Without the new behavior, a typical NEF file had between 400 and 800 (!) metadata tags in the database. One file! Now we have maybe 200-300, including XMP and everything else.

Yep, and BTW, the database-size is now about 8 GB instead 9.8 GB.  :D
