Update error NEF file.

Hello,
when I try to cataloged some pictures, I sometimes have a mistake and IM5 tells me that no update has been made (see attached file).
These photos are usually in the format "nef". Could someone explain to me what is happening and what to do to avoid this?

ExifTool reports errors with the metadata in these files, and cannot update the files.
ExifTool never updates files which are in error (or in a doubtful) state - to not make things worse.

You need to repair these files (e.g re-saving them in Capture or manually stripping the EXIF data). I suggest you ask what can be done about
