If I use Pack-and-Go to back up my database and it crashes how can I use it to do a restore? If I use Acronis True Image do I need to use Pack-and-Go?

Click on the Restore tab in Pack & Go.

Pack & Go is no replacement for your regular backup solution. When to use Pack & Go is also explained in the help. No need to repeat that here. Just press <F1> while the Pack & Go dialog is open or search for Pack in the help index.
