Create category from selection script: Why is it on context menu?

Topic 2464 is closed - but I like to revisit it.

Why is this system sample script (Create Category from Selection) on the files context menu?
Is it that important. Are there any users who use this script regularly?

It can be removed from the context menu after each Imatch update but since the baix file is protected
it takes some hoops to do so.

This script is used to demonstrate how a script can be added to a menu. This is intentional.
