result windows: scripting limitations

Studying the possibilities of scripting.....

Result windows:
I can create a result window and at creation time populate it with files but
there is no way to add or remove files from the result window.
Is that so?
There also seems to be no way to remove a result window with a script.
This means that deleting the window and recreating it is not possible.
Is that so?

Since a result window would usually be used to display specially selected/filtered files
it would be good if one could turn off filtering of result windows in the script.
