Found new EXIF file

I'm Getting "Found new EXIF file" every time I open IMatch, many times each day? Can this be avoided? On the other hand, IMatch rocks :-)

I assume you mean it finds a new version of exiftool and will install it.
So my guess would be some protection problem it runs into when it tries to install exiftool and fails.

First,simple try: Run it as administrator.

"Found new EXIF file" is not an IMatch error message.
If you get the message that a new version of ExifTool has been found, that's normal. I shipped a new version with the current IMatch version. IMatch needs to update your database. If this fails, the message will come back. But it should not fail, unless your database is read-only or there is another problem. Please attach the log file of an IMatch session where you saw this message.
