Password in a protected field

Hi:
I don't know what happen to my post of yesterday, that's why I am asking again.
I was testing this new feature in my backup database.
I protected a photo.(1.jpg)
Then I go to the menu and put a password.(2.jpg)
When I click OK this message appears.(3.jpg)
Click OK and OK again.(4.jpg)
After that I can do everything to my file that it doesn't ask for the password.
Today I copied the "real" database to my backup folder , tried again with no success.
Anyone?

This password is used when you switch between "show protected files" and "don't show protected files". When you set a password here, IMatch should ask you for it when you try to switch on protected files via <F9>,<0>. Does this happen?

I'm not sure what you mean with "After that I can do everything to my file that it doesn't ask for the password."

Thanks for your answer.
When I have a file protected it shows me the silver shield.
If I put a password to that file, and if I want to see it again, I should do:
Menu View / Protected file visible and activate this option and then it should ask for the password.
If this is right, with me it turns immediatly the file visible without asking for the password.
With this "After that I can do everything to my file that it doesn't ask for the password." I mean that I can play with Shift+P or F9,0 that it doesn't ask for the password.

If I put a password to that file, and if I want to see it again, I should do:

You cannot add a password to a file.
The password you enter for the protected files feature is only for the F9,0 command.
When you press F9,0 IMatch will ask you to enter the password to make the protected files visible.

There seems to be a problem with the password functionality, you have filed a bug report already. The password does not stick, for whatever reason. Your bug report is recorded and I will look into this for one of the next releases.
