Cannot change time stamp

I changed the time stamp (Tools > modify exif date & time) on files previously, but now I get this message.  I cannot find an appropriate setting in Metadata 2. 

What do I need to do, please?

Change the settings in Metadata 2 to allow IMatch to write To EXIF and/or IPTC for RW2 files or what ever file format IMatch might complain about. If the file format does not already have existing EXIF/IPTC (but supports them) you need to allow the creation of those metadata.

I think when you press <F1> in this dialog you get info about the reason for the problem and how to change the setting. Did you try that?

<F1> leads you always to the corresponding help topic in IMatch.
