master finding shortcut

I would like to have a fast way to do this:

preferably by selecting the versions, and then having a quick search function that would bring up the masters for those versions in a search window.  This came up when trying to propagate categories to some versions  whose masters got reassigned before the relation rule was set to do the propagation.
