[5.6.x] Design and print produces no print and no file

Hi all,

so I created a new template with 25 x 25 = 625 small thumbs on one page (btw, small feature request: "create x containers at once; x>1 ;-)). All works seemingly well, after some time the print previw has loaded all the images and looks like expected.
Now, when I want to print that, the resulting printout does not contain any image. An extract to a file yields no file at all, not even an empty one?!?
What am I missing?

Hi Mario,

thanks for your superfast reaction, highly appreciated!

are attached settings sufficient? The log file for 4 consequent print jobs states

Those directories are accessible.

Anything else you need?

Please always attach the complete log file (ZIPped please).
Also attach your template.
Do other templates work, e.g. one of the standard contact sheets?
Error 2 means "no image loaded". And this can mean basically anything. I need the template and the log file to know more.

Right. Log file and template attached. The "My first contact sheet (A4)" does produce a file in the specified directory.

I just created a similar dynamic templatte (25x25 A0). Same result: preview OK, no file.

You are trying to create an A0 file as an image file?
That's 841 x 1189 mm. At 300 DPI this would produce an image with with about 10,000 x 13500 pixel. I think that exceeds the limits of the image library.

The log file reads:

01.11 21:35:54+    0 [61CC] 02  I>               PrintQueue: Output file name: 'C:\Users\Harry\Desktop\Seite-1.tif'.
01.11 21:35:54+    0 [61CC] 00  E>               PrintQueue: Failed to save output file. 2 ''  'PTPrintQueue.cpp(492)'

but gives no specifics. Did you try to create a more sensible size, e.g. A4 or A3?

Hm. Bad luck then. Because, yes, I had in mind to create a giant file with many many pixels in A0 and 300 dpi for some professional project.
Anything I can do to achieve that?

A0 is the largest possible available format. Very large movie posters are in this format...

I tried this here and what fails is the a routine in the image library which blits the final image. I assume it cannot allocate enough memory for the task and fails silently.

300 DPI is way to much resolution for such a large file. Posters in that size are printed at 150 DPI to 200 DPI max.
And IMatch can print an A0 file at 200 DPI. Just tried it. The resulting file is about 9300 x 6000 pixels.
